Conversations: A Guide to Being Articulate

Have you ever been in a situation where you can’t have a steady conversations? How about, talking to complete strangers in a party? Or just in a conference? You just then stopped talking and unable to reply and start a new topic to converse with?

Awkwaaaard…

This has happened in my life and it’s bad. So bad, that I need to have a few bottles in first before I could start a healthy conversation.

Like having to converse with people with a straight and steady topic is almost magical not only to me, but also for other people.

Keeping a steady and continuous topic is the idea

Most of use are usually shy and aloof. Afraid of rejections, misunderstanding, and being labeled as trying hard.

But  we are just unaware of how to reply or compliment people with their ideas.

And most of all, we just don’t listen very well.

The great gift of conversation lies less in displaying it ourselves than in drawing it out of others. He who leaves your company pleased with himself and his own cleverness is perfectly well pleased with you.
